A changed MINDSET...

Hebrews 11:15-16

[15]And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.

[16]But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

So many of us sometimes find ourselves reminiscing of old times. Which can lead to impure thoughts, bitter feelings and so much more. I am about to be 9 years old in the Lord and I find myself growing daily and daily learning what things in my life God is happy with and what things he is not happy with. I cry sometimes when I see so many from the jails fall back into the old ways and I ask why? How? But if we are mindful(looking back with care) of where we came from then we will return. I left it all behind nothing back is worth looking at. We must come to realize that even yesterday is not worth looking back at because you can't change it. But we can change where our feet march right now. The Bible says we must arm ourselves with the same mind Christ had. Everyday is day of servitude and building a relationship with God. Sure thoughts come up, dreams of the past but we know it comes from Satan because God said I remember them no more. We have the power to cast down imaginations and anything that exalt itself above God so if God forgot nothing is above God so it must be all forgotten. All things have become new. We press toward or fight toward that city that God has prepared for you and I not looking back. Rearview mirror is smaller than the windshield!!!!!!
